Try printing from another app = does it crash as well?

There are several reasons why you are having issues with the Windows 10 Photos App. Normally, restoring your libraries to default will do the. It sounds like a networking problem but you didnt say if its just a network printer or local printer - or is it both?

Was this an in place upgrade of windows 10?

Was this running ok before and have you installed anything like an update or other program before this began happening.

Need a lot more info when you post a problem!

Ie OS, Revision, Laptop,Pc or tablet , networked domain or local pc, printer drivers installed?
